Below are some tips, tricks and comments about TrixyChart notes.

How do I add a note?

There are a couple methods, but this is the easiest:

  1. Click anywhere on the chart.
  2. Type your note.
  3. Hit <Enter>

Keep in mind, once you click on the chart you don’t need to move your mouse down to the text field. Just Click,Type,Enter!

How do I post a note to others?

So, the instructions above showed how to quickly make a personal note to yourself. Now suppose you wanted to post a note that is seen by some of your friends. In order do to this, we’ll first need to create a new group.

  1. In the note section on your chart, click the drop-down that says Private and select New Group. (You’ll probably have to create an account first — don’t worry it is free and we don’t sell/share/distribute your email addresses!)
  2. Enter the name of your new group (whatever you want it to be!)
  3. Enter the email addresses of your friends.
  4. If any of your friends are not TrixyChart members you will be prompted to send them an invite.

Now that you have created your group, you can post notes directly to the group by selecting your group from the drop-down while composing your note.

How do I change the note icon?

While posting a note, you can use the icon drop-down to select a new icon. For notes already posted, just select the note from your list and click on the icon in the list.

How do I delete a note?

From the note list plot, click the red X that appears to the right of the note you wish to delete.
